We would love for you to join us for our modified indoor worship service. As we offer this service, we want to ensure the safety of all members and guests. Before every service, the building will be thoroughly sanitized. We will be observing social distancing in our services. Families are encouraged to enter the building together and find a socially distant seat. During the service, we will not be passing around any materials, plates, or any other products. If the sanctuary fills, we have planned to live stream each service in the fellowship hall to continue promoting social distancing. There will be no child care at this time. You children will need to attend service with you. Our children’s church team will be providing your child with a learning pack consisting of a pack of crayons, a coloring sheet to go along with the Bible lesson, and a clip board to press down on, all in a tote bag for them to easily carry. We simply ask that you take the coloring sheet home with you and return the other items to be disinfected and reused the following Sunday. If you need to take care of a child during service, our nursery will be a safe, clean, and available space for you to use in case of an emergency. Our deacons will be available during the service to point you in the right direction. We have no problem if your children are a little rambunctious! We would love to have them a part of our “big church” services. We ask that if you consider yourself to be part of the at-risk population, or you are not comfortable attending gatherings just yet, you please stay home and join us on our Facebook page (@crestviewlancaster), or sit in the parking lot to listen to the service over the posted radio station. We are elated to get back to worship together, but want to do it safely. Come join us.
Looking to attend in the future. I was curious what time your regular service starts.
Hi Christi!
We would love to have you join us for our worship services! We are currently holding services at 10AM on Sunday morning inside the sanctuary. We are following social distancing guidelines and encourage everyone to do what they feel to be appropriate for the safety of their family as far as wearing masks. If you have any questions or would like more information about our worship services or actives, don’t hesitate to send me an email at cswails@crestviewlancaster.org. We would love to connect with you and get you plugged in with us. God bless you Christi, I look forward to hearing from you and meeting you soon!
In Christ,
Rev. Casey Swails
Rev. Swails,
Does the church use Faithlife, or Logos platforms? I was a member for sometime, during whichI left Lancaster to attend Fruitland and received my Assoc. degree in church ministries. I’ve been using Logos for my studies since 2002 when I attended Fruitland. I found it to be a great source for studies and sermin prep.
I haven’t been attending church since my wife is now disabled and it is difficult to prepare on time to attend, but look forward to when things settle down so that we can start attending onceagain. We’ve been attending and help church plant New Horizon Community Church back in 2004 or so, but the church has changed pastors. The new pastor is very young and has a different approach to leading the Church. Not to say that is a bad thing, just not what my wife and I are accustom to. Dr. Steve Stewart has retired and left the church here in Lancaster. Dr Stewart was more a teaching minister, expository, exegetical with his sermins
Hi Steven,
Good to hear from you! At the present time, Crestview as a church does not use Faithlife or Logos. I am currently a student at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary where I am able to obtain discounted access to the Logos platform, which is a blessing.
I am sorry to hear about your wife and will be in prayer for her. If there is any way that we can pray for you specifically, please don’t hesitate to let us know. I understand that times are difficult for many to attend church, but I am also looking forward to the day soon, by the grace of God, when we will be able to gather unreservedly again. I am familiar with New Horizon and Pastor Bryant Blakely. I am very grateful for Pastor Bryant and New Horizon. Bryant has become a good friend of mine. I have also heard a lot of great things about Dr. Steve Stewart; a man that I would love to have had the opportunity to learn from. I am one who appreciates and attempts to implement an expository approach to preaching.
May God bless you and your family brother. If I can ever be of assistance to you in your walk with the Lord, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
